At 3.5 to 3.75 oz and 65% polyester, 35% cotton, the lightweight poplin sits at the low end of the uniform shirt weight range, light enough for warm service environments and comfortable through a full shift while wrinkle resistance keeps it looking fresh.

The open-neck construction is the key silhouette difference from the 5230 short-sleeve poplin and the 5280 button-down long sleeve. An open neck sits flat against the chest with a relaxed, slightly scooped neckline that reads more feminine and contemporary than a standard collar. The contoured side seams and two back darts shape the blouse through the waist and back rather than hanging straight, giving it a fitted, dress-blouse silhouette. The narrow placket with matching buttons keeps the front clean without contrasting hardware.
