Description

The Edwards 1230 is a short-sleeve, easy-care poplin shirt built for restaurants, delivery services, casual dining, retail, and image apparel programs where staff need a colorful, hardworking shirt that holds up through demanding daily wear without requiring excessive maintenance between shifts. Made from a 65% polyester, 35% cotton blend at 4.0 to 4.25 oz, poplin is a plain-weave fabric with a smooth, slightly crisp surface that gives the shirt a clean, professional appearance, while the polyester content handles wrinkle resistance and soil release so the shirt comes out of the wash ready to wear without ironing.

The button-down collar keeps the neckline in place throughout a shift without collar curl, which is practical in active service environments where staff are moving constantly. Horn buttons and a left chest pocket give the 1230 a classic workwear shirt construction that reads approachable and professional across casual dining, hospitality, and customer service roles. The back box pleat allows freedom of movement without pulling the shirt out of a tuck. Moisture-wicking, soil release, and industrial laundering compatibility make this shirt straightforward to maintain across a large uniform program.
