At 3.4 oz and 88% polyester, 12% spandex stretch woven, the fabric flexes with arm and shoulder movement during active professional wear without pulling or restricting through the body.

The split neck is the distinctive collar treatment, a V-shaped neckline that ends in a small horizontal keyhole opening rather than tapering to a point, framing the chest with a slightly more open, contemporary appearance than a standard closed V-neck. Two chest pockets provide accessible on-shift storage for pens, a badge, or small items without requiring a separate vest or jacket. Long sleeves roll back and secure at the three-quarter position for sleeve length adjustment based on temperature or activity. The slightly curved hem allows the blouse to be worn tucked or untucked. The men's companion is style 1978.
