Edwards 5027 is a ladies' easy-care short-sleeve oxford dress shirt built for restaurants, hotels, customer service counters, front desk operations, and security associates who need a cotton-rich, low-maintenance blouse that holds its appearance through repeated industrial laundering. At 4.4 oz and 60% cotton, 40% polyester, the shirt delivers a softer hand and more natural drape than a flat polyester uniform blouse, while the polyester content carries the wrinkle-resistant and soil-release finish that pure cotton shirts cannot retain through repeated washing.

The same Oxford cloth fabric used in the men's companion styles 1027 and 1077 is a basket weave construction with a lightly textured surface that reads more substantial and professional than poplin or broadcloth at the same weight. That texture also makes minor wrinkles less visible during a shift, which is a practical advantage for front facing staff in active service roles.

A full cut with a back box pleat gives the blouse room through the upper back and shoulders during movement without pulling or untucking, and the button-down collar stays flat without pressing. Industrial launder certification keeps the blouse compatible with commercial laundry programs. The long-sleeve companion style is 5077. Men's short sleeve companion style is 1027.
