The Edwards 1027 is the short-sleeve version of the Edwards easy-care Oxford dress shirt, sharing the same 60% cotton, 40% polyester Oxford cloth construction as the long-sleeve companion style 1077 but built for warmer environments and warmer seasons where full-sleeve coverage is not practical. At 4.4 oz, the cotton-rich blend gives the shirt a softer hand and more natural drape than a predominantly polyester dress shirt, and the oxford cloth weave adds a subtle textured surface that reads more professional than flat-weave fabrics at a comparable weight.

The short-sleeve Oxford is a standard choice for restaurants, hotels, customer service counters, front desk operations, and security associates where staff need a clean dress shirt appearance without the heat buildup of a long sleeve in warm service environments. The wrinkle-resistant and soil-release finish reduces maintenance demands so the shirt comes out of industrial laundering or home washing ready to wear without pressing.
