2002 Edwards Ultimate Chef Pant

Edwards 2002 is the ultimate unisex chef pant built for restaurant, hotel kitchen, catering, and food service programs where kitchen and line staff need a full-cut, comfortable pant that stays practical through a demanding active service shift without restricting movement at the waist or thigh. At 6 oz and made from a 65% polyester, 35% cotton blended fabric, the pant is lighter than heavier chef pants while still carrying the durability and soil resistance that commercial kitchen wear requires through repeated industrial laundering.

The yarn-dyed construction is the key fabric detail of 2002. "Yarn-dyed" means the yarn fibers are dyed before weaving rather than dyeing the finished fabric; this produces a deeper, more consistent color penetration that holds through industrial laundering better than surface-dyed fabrics, which is why yarn-dyed fabrics are standard in culinary workwear that cycles through high-temperature commercial laundry programs multiple times per week. 

The 2-inch elastic waistband with drawstring and brass zipper closure allows the pants to fit comfortably across a range of body shapes within each size without requiring a precise waist measurement, which simplifies bulk ordering for kitchen programs that need to outfit a full team.

The graduated inseam adjusts the inseam length proportionally as size increases rather than using a single fixed inseam across all sizes, which reduces the alteration work required for taller staff in larger sizes.
