Edwards 1975 is a men's pinpoint oxford long-sleeve dress shirt built for hotel, resort, banking, airline, and corporate office programs where a cotton-rich dress shirt needs to provide a softer, more refined hand alongside industrial laundering durability. At 70% cotton, 30% polyester and 4.5 oz, this shirt carries the highest cotton content in the standard Edwards woven lineup, producing a noticeably softer feel and more natural drape than higher-polyester dress shirts.

Pinpoint oxford's finer, tighter weave creates a smoother, more lustrous surface than standard oxford cloth, suited to programs where the dress standard leans toward premium suiting quality. The 80s 2-ply yarn construction twists two fine yarns together before weaving, producing a stronger, smoother thread that resists pilling and surface wear through daily wear and repeated laundering. Single-needle tailoring delivers cleaner, flatter seams throughout the shirt. The sleeve sizing system pairs body size with specific sleeve lengths from 33 to 37 inches for a correctly fitted shirt without alteration. The ladies' companion is style 5975.
