It shares the same 100% polyester snag-proof fabric at 6.7 oz as the pocketless companion style 1512, with the addition of a left chest pocket for staff who need accessible storage for a pen, badge holder, or small tool on shift.

Snag-proof polyester uses a tightly interlocked knit construction that prevents individual threads from catching and pulling when the fabric contacts equipment, hardware, vehicle surfaces, or rough environments. This is why the 1523 gets used consistently across security staff, transit personnel, facilities management teams, and service roles where the polo takes physical contact throughout a shift. 

The no-curl ribbed collar stays flat all day without adjustment.
