    It is a large beanie but what I wanted and expected. The pom pom is very big and very cool - it will be seen.. Color combination is great and the beanie is well made. Got two in different colors. If you are looking for a very tight fit beanie you may not want this but if you are looking for a larger warm beanie this is it.

    The po.pom is a FANTASTIC 4 inches across. Sits on top of your head just right. Love the cotton yarn. DO NOT THROW IN DRYER. I have knitted half my life and have experienced 9 and 10 year old girl meltdowns with wilted pompoms that found their way to the dryer. Lots of fun comments with this hat.

    I took a chance ... sometimes you buy clothing online and it turns out to be thin and cheap. But this is warm and cozy! Probably not warm enough for being out in below-freezing temperature, but good enough for chilly days.

    This hat is well made, with vibrant colors, and it is soft. But it is a really big hat! The ball at the top is kind of heavy. You just don't expect to have tat much weight up there. I do love the bright raspberry color.
