My husband loves these shorts, finds them very comfortable. They do run a little on the large side but after washing seem right. He got 3 pairs.

I returned these because they are shorter than I wanted- they were listed as having a longer 10” inseam but are actually no more than 8”. If you don’t want longer shorts they seemed nice enough. Nice thick sweatsuit material. The fit was also a bit boxy but that likely would improve with a few wears and washes. Decent short. Just too short for us tall guys.

The shorts have a larger sinch cord than others. I broke my ankle quit a while back. All I wear are these shorts every day. The inside of the shorts have a feal like a micro fiber towel. At times there hard to get. Hang in there, they are worth the wait.

Bought these for my husband as a soft light pair of shorts to wear about and there are the complete opposite of light. They are very thick and have a good weight to them so they are officially his winter shorts; which works out because he only wears pants if it’s 0 below or mandatory.

The item description says “lightweight cotton”, but these shorts are not lightweight. They are a heavy, thick fleece, something that would keep you warm in winter (if you wear gym shorts in winter). Keep that in mind if you are looking for lightweight shorts, because these ain’t that.Additional NOTE: They shed during the first washing, so wash separately.

Several of the reviews mention problems with size, so I almost ordered a size larger that I normally would. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered my regular size. I'm 6 feet tall, weigh 190 lbs with a 32 inch waist. I ordered a size medium and the fit is exactly what I expected. The waist is a little loose but the draw cord sinches the waist just right. The overall fit is a little loose, but that's what I expect with a sweatpant type short. If you are wanting something more fitted, you might be able to do a size down from normal. The length of the shorts fall just above my knee. The material is a nice weight. heavy enough for cooler weather, would likely be a little warm for hot days. I would certainly buy these again.

I have three pair of Russell Dri-power fleece shorts and really like them, so I ordered three more. The older model was made of lighter weight fleece material, which was perfect for summer wear. The new ones are made of a heavier material, similar to sweat pants, and are too warm to wear on hot summer days. I kept them because they fit well but was surprised at the change in material.

I have been wearing Russell sportware for years and the quality has not changed. Sizing is 'accurate', the product is well made and lasts for years!....Go ahead buy a Russell prodcut!

The fleece does not fit to use for short. Fleece is to keep your body warm and this is a short for summer hot temperature

The pockets could be larger, but at the price they are great. Mid-weight, nice length, good fit, nice drawstring.
