The Surge fabric is 100% polyester engineered to produce the classic texture and visual weight of wool serge baseball caps, giving the 512 the authentic appearance of a traditional team cap without the rigidity, weight, or care demands of actual wool.

The Kelly Green underbill is a throwback detail consistent across all colorways, referencing the classic green underbill that appeared on team baseball caps from the 1970s and 1980s and giving the 512 a heritage aesthetic that appeals to teams and league programs with a vintage uniform identity. The Softsnap backstrap uses a flexible plastic snap material that sits more comfortably against the back of the head during active wear than rigid plastic snaps.
