Description

The JY34 Hi-Visibility Soft Shell Jacket from Red Kap is built on a 10.3 oz. body in 96% polyester and 4% spandex elastane with a 100% polyester lining. The spandex content is what makes a soft shell work on a job site, letting the fabric stretch as the wearer reaches overhead, climbs into a cab, or bends to the ground, rather than pulling tight across the shoulders the way a rigid shell does.

A Durable Water Repellent finish treats the surface so rain, spills, and splashes bead off rather than soaking into the fabric, which keeps the lining dry and the jacket from getting heavy through a wet shift. The full zip front carries a zipper garage, a small fabric tab at the top of the closure that keeps the zipper pull off the chin. Front on seam pockets close with zippers so nothing falls out during movement, and a zippered pocket carries an interior pass-through for routing headphone cables.
