Description

The Recover RCY1093 is a youth pullover hooded sweatshirt made from 8 oz./yd² fabric in a 50/50 blend of recycled cotton and recycled polyester, constructed with 18-singles yarn. Both fibers are made from reclaimed materials rather than virgin feedstocks, giving the sweatshirt recycled content in both components of the blend. At 18 singles, the yarn is heavier than typical tee-weight yarns, contributing to the fabric’s weight and body. A brushed fleece interior provides a soft feel and helps provide additional warmth.

The three-piece hood is shaped from three panels to provide a structured fit and is designed without drawcords. A front pouch pocket provides convenient storage for hands and small items, while rib-knit cuffs and a rib-knit waistband help keep the sleeves and body comfortably in place. Back-neck taping covers the seam for added comfort and durability, while shoulder-to-shoulder taping reinforces the upper back and helps maintain seam stability. Double-needle stitching at key stress points adds durability. A locker loop is incorporated into the neck area, while a pad-printed half-moon neck label eliminates the need for a sewn-in neck tag. A Recover woven pinch tag is positioned on the hem of the pouch pocket, and a natural hangtag communicates the recycled-fabric story. The sweatshirt features a retail fit, making it suitable for youth retail programs, school and camp programs, screen-printing, and recreation leagues.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold with like colors.
Do not bleach, as bleach weakens the cotton fibers and fades color.
Tumble dry low to limit shrinkage and protect the fleece lining.
Do not use fabric softener, since it mats the brushed fleece.
Do not iron directly over any decoration
