The shirt is great, especially for the price. I marked "somewhat small" because sizing is not accurate. Upon the advice of another reviewer, I ordered a size larger than my usual size which worked out perfect. Amazon should update the size chart which absolutely useless! I think the shirt is well made. The denim material is a medium weight. If you take care with the sizing when ordering, this is a good deal.

STYLE AND FIT IS OKAYMy daughter thought it looked stylish on me. My son thinks I look like a stereotypical 80 year old man. I bought it to wear for my DIY projects as I often stain or tear my regular clothing doing yard work and DIY projects. It is very comfortable and I wear it often, maybe 3 times a week. I have washed it once and so far looks fine.QUALITY IS OKAYThe material is a little thinner than I was hoping for, but has not show any wear or tear.I would buy again.

Great shirt and really good value at the original price of about £17. Now the price has gone up to £29 it is not quite such a bargain

Sheds blue lint on every wash - for the lifetime of the shirt.I like this shirt, the XXL size fits fine on my 6'1", 200 lb, body. The sleeves are probably a bit short for my long arms, but I normally roll up my sleeves, so that hardly matters. The neck is 2 to 3 inches too small to button close, but I would never wear this shirt close necked with a tie anyway, so that doesn't matter. I own several of these shirts and they are the primary shirt I wear.My primary complaint is that everytime I have any of these shirts in my laundry, the lint filter on my electric dryer gets a mat of blue lint. The shirt sheds ... and sheds ... and sheds. Eventually I expect they will become too thread bare, even for my rather casual tastes, and need to be replaced.I presume this means that too much low grade, short fiber, cotton was used in making the shirt. I have no other clothes or linens that shed much at all, except for new towels on the first couple of washings, so I am sure shirts -can- be made with longer fiber cotton, but that's not these shirts.

I read reviews that complained about the shirt cloth being "thinner" in the dark blue VS the light blue. I bought both and the cloth is exactly the same. I heard that the blue dies everything in the wash. Well on a first or second was with ANY cotton dyed material you will get a strong chance of tinting whites if you wash them together. I and really anyone doing washing should know this. That said there was not a noticeable amount of coloring. I wasn't stupid and didn't wash any white coton items with it, but there were white labels on some things and those didn't tint .Some also said buy a size up. I did but I didn't need to. I don't mind a loose fit in work shirts so not a problem for me but I will be ordering large and not extra large next time (I'm 6' 180).Some people also seem to be carefully washing in cold water. A work shirt? I simplify my life everything washes hot and dries on incinerate. Also why I tend to buy a size over. Most clothing these days seems to be about a 1/2 size smaller than they used to be. Washing and drying hot shrinks cotton about 1/2 size so all is good. The heat also sets dye, if it wasn't already fully set.Anyway I like this shirt. I have had heavier work shirts, but this is not "light" but a pretty normal weight for a denim shirt. This company also shipped faster than the company I ordered the lite blue shirt from (these folks didn't have the light blue in stock). Both shirts were ordered at the same time and this shirt arrived a couple of days sooner.

My husband is in the trades. He lives in and really likes this brand. I knew Port authority because I used to sell T-shirts to be silkscreened and embroidered, and they were always one of the top shirts that I sold ...that my customers liked overall. My husband likes a 2XL long, and these were perfect for him. He’s about 6 foot one and has a bigger stomach than he should, but the arms fit and it’s comfortable around the neck, the fabric is very soft. I wash and dry them and hang them up. If I wanted to make them look nice then I’d start and heavy for him to go to a meeting. He’s hard on his and every three months he will ask me to order him two more.

...ordered the medium lighter shade, it's a bit darker than I expected, so if you want the lightest shade possible I'd order the lightest one available...maybe after a few washes it'll lighten up more. Overall, it's a decent quality shirt...not too heavy, not too light/thin...medium softness, will probably soften up more after washing. It's a Christmas gift for someone...I think they will like it...will look nice over a t-shirt with prewashed Levi's. Decent price also. Ordered a size XL for someone who usually takes a size L and it'll be a good fit.
