Air jet yarn is spun using a high-pressure air jet process that blows away loose fibers and surface lint during spinning, producing a smoother, cleaner yarn surface that resists pilling and surface fuzz through repeated wearing and washing. The hood with no drawcord is a youth safety feature, eliminating the strangulation hazard that drawcords create in youth hooded garments.
