Measured across the chest one inch below armhole when laid flat.

The jacket fit my body well, seemed to be of good construction, and looked good, but the sleeves were too long, and I have long arms. But, returning the jacket and getting a refund has so far proved to be easy and convenient. I will update this review if any problems occur with the refund, but I don't expect any.

The jacket was delivered on time. I am very satisfied with it and am glad I bought it. It's not a top of the line type of jacket but it's a good working jacket. I haven't gone through the rain with it yet but it looks like it will repel the raindrops pretty good. For where I live, it definitely keeps me warm. I would recommend it as a decent working jacket.

Fine as a lightweight jacket, fit and cut are nice. Did have a problem with the way the jacket was packaged, but Hippo Tails sent a follow up email to make sure we were satisfied, and when the packaging issue was mentioned they quickly rectified the problem. Happy with the transaction and the jacket.

I've been looking for a khaki jacket for awhile now. I need a big and tall. There's just not much at there without spending a fortune on it. Then I found this one. It was perfect. Fit right. Nicely insulated. Just what I had been looking for.

This jacket was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the bargain price. I wear it as my top layer when hiking. I especially like the zip-up collar in chilly weather. The zip-up pockets are roomy. The inside zip-up pocket is good for carrying small books, maps, etc. In short, I like it...
