Pretty roomy for a raincoat. I'm 6-1 300 lbs and need shoulder room for work and driving. This coat is durable, cleans off easily, doesn't get too warm (breathable vents) and zipper construction is good quality. A lot of nice features. I do wish the hood had a tie or was wired. I will probably find a way to modify it so it doesn't fall over my eyes. I will be using it to snow blow and the length is good for covering the waist line. The orange is a true safety orange. You can see it from space and that's comforting.

I bought this windbreaker strictly to wear over my mesh motorcycle jacket when the early morning or early evening chill would be too much while riding at highway speeds. I required a zipper to withstand the wind and wanted it in bright orange to ensure I am always noticed by drivers. I normally wear XL shirts, sweaters, and jackets so I ordered the windbreaker in 2XL so it would fit over my mesh motorcycle jacket without being too tight and the sleeves too short. It fits perfectly for my purpose. Also, the hood zips off completely and the nicely lined, stand-up collar with a snap closure comfortably protects my neck against the wind. I took it for a 4 hour test ride, and it worked fine. Although I've limited experience with it, the fit is fine, the quality seems fine, the delivery was earlier than expected, and the color is outstanding. Couldn't be more pleased with it so far!

Port Authority is known for making apparel blanks for the promotional industry, but their quality has been steadily improving. This waterproof jacket is a fine example of that. I bought it a bit large so it would not bind over heavy sweaters. I use it for working around the house in foul weather; I can't speak to how well it would hold up in every-day use, but for my lighter purposes, this is a good value for the money. I'm glad I bought it.

Love this jacket because it is water proof and very light weight. It works great during extremely hot weather. I have a London Fog rain/trench coat that I use in cooler weather, but it is too hot to wear during the summer months. This little jacket is ideal. My husband and I both have one. He has a yellow and I bought the blue. Works well, fits well, and is very attractive.

Nice looking jacket, durable and well constructed. The fabric is softer than a lot of rain gear, and comfortable to wear. The zippered outside pockets are handy. (Although there's an interior zipper in the lining, it's just intended to provide access to the back of the outer fabric for custom embroidery, and not really an interior pocket). No ugly logo or gratuitous extra features to junk up the clean appearance.I bought this to use as an outer shell for cycling in colder weather, and it works very well for that purpose. It's great that it's available in several high visibility colors. I wouldn't recommend it for warm weather since it's not really ventilated or breathable (more on that below), but a good choice 3 seasons out of the year. There are no vents, pit zippers or other means of allowing air flow other than leaving the front open part way. Seems to shed water well in a light to moderate rain.An outstanding value in my opinion, but be aware you aren't getting the pinnacle of either waterproofness or breathability at this price point. The 5,000 mm rating for waterproofness is pretty much the minimum for what can be called "waterproof" and the 1,000 g/m2/day breathability rating is also very minimal. For comparison, my eVent based jacket has 6 times the waterproofness rating and about 20x the breathability. Of course, it also cost many times the price of this jacket. On balance, I think the Torrent jacket is a great value and highly recommended.

Tis’ the perfect rain jacket for the Holiday Season. Jacket is soft to the touch with a removable zipper hoodie and zipper pockets. This jacket has a great pocket that is located on the inside. It has a zipper that runs the length of the jacket and the mesh lining is one huge pocket to store things. This is good for me since I ride a motorcycle. Jacket is light but keep the cold air out and keeps me dry. Definitely worth every penny. The seller was top notch and VERY responsive in resolving a small issue and was absolutely timely doing so. Thanks guys!

This is a great coat, but the orange is insanely bright. Orange is my favorite color and I don’t usually shy away from bright colors, but this is so bright that it’s almost embarrassing unless you work in construction or public safety and are purposely trying to stand out. You WILL draw attention to yourself in this color. Just trying it on and wearing it around the house a bit, it was so overstimulating even out of the corners of my eyes, that I’ve decided to return it and possibly buy another color. But really, this is a high quality coat with lots of great features - just think twice about getting the orange one.
