The Port Authority BG970 Gym Bag is designed for utility; suitable for the fitness center or for a weekend trip. Great bag! I use it everyday for the gym. My sneakers fit perfectly in the slot for shoes and there is plenty of room for work out clothes and light jacket. I love the additional pockets as well.

I bought this a couple of years ago and I I absolutly love it. Still looks brand new and I have used it plenty. Very good size as well.

I have been using this regularly for my morning gym trips. The shoe compartment fits my size 1o Reebok DMX Max pretty well, there is a slight hangover at the end. It still zips up easy enough. The zipper pocket on the opposite end is roomy enough to hold my waist belt, gloves and other small items. The side pocket is big enough to hold small items like my keys and wallet. The main compartment has plenty of room to hold my toiletry bag, a light jacket and a couple changes of clothing. Overall a much roomier bag than I expected considering the shoe pocket.

Had an old red bag like this that was worn out. Excited to find this at such a good price. It is exactly what my daughter wanted for a sports bag. Sturdy, with many pockets and a strong shoulder strap. She can use it for travel as well. Great bag!

Love this bag! I’ve had my first one for probably 10 years, since college, and it’s the perfect overnight/weekend bag. It’s great for camping, especially. The end pockets are great for toiletries and underwear/socks, respectively. The main compartment is the right size for several changes of clothes. It’s not bulky at all. I got this one for my wife because she was jealous of my tidy little duffel for weekends and camping trips. Great buy.

This bag is a great deal smaller than it appears in the photo. If you need to carry more than the bare essentials to the gym, this bag won't work for you. Someone on here specifically stated that there were side pockets that you could put your shoes in! LOL. No way. The side pockets are so small, that there pretty much unusable. I can get my t-shirt, workout pants and a towel into the bag. If I want to carry my gym shoes as well, I have to put them in the main section with my clothes. That's about the extent of what this bag will carry. It does fit into the half lockers just fine because of its size, but its not at all the size I was hoping for.
