At 140 denier, the fabric runs light rather than heavy-duty, which is the point of a cinch pack: it packs flat, weighs just over half a pound empty, and holds 19.5 liters when loaded. The air mesh base is the detail that matters most in use, since the bottom of a cinch bag is what hits wet grass, gym floors, and locker room tile, and mesh lets that panel breathe and dry rather than trapping moisture against the contents.

A drawcord closure pulls the top shut and doubles as the shoulder straps, which is what keeps the construction simple and the weight down.
