So, I was looking for something to replace my giant Adidas messenger bag for daily use. I'd seen my boyfriend with sling bag and inquired about it. Well, it was a lot larger than I needed. So, I set out on Amazon and found this guy. It's PERFECT. It'll hold my iPad in the large chamber without any real manipulation other than zipping the corner over one corner of the tablet. No deformation in the pack itself. The material is light, I mean LIGHT. This bag weighs almost nothing. It's been 100% waterproof as of today, protecting my iPhone, iPad, Leather Wallet, and any other thing I have put in it. It even washed clean and without any degradation when my cat puked on it. And for $10? STEAL. I couldn't be happier to have this bag now that I own one. I've also enjoyed that it's so small and fits my size well. I'm a tiny guy by most standards here in the US. 5'8", 135 lbs. This bag isn't too small as to femenize my look but isn't at all too big to look cumbersome or goofy.

Really cheap price for a pretty well built bag. It is a big awkward empty. I had to stuff a light jacket in just to give it enough of a shape for it to fit on my back right without feeling or looking weird. Probably could use a horizontal strap from the third corner to loop instead of just hanging out there. The strap's pretty basic too but the zippers and material is tough enough to not tear or puncture from supplies inside like a pen or something. The strap's nothing too special but it's simple to loosen and tighten depending on your needs. Not bad for the five bucks I paid for it.

I had this a standard carry-on to hold essentials for a trip overseas. It held my iPad mini, iPod, phone, passport holder and money, beats headphones, snacks, chargers, a pair of shorts rolled up, a swim coverup, and small makeup/essentials kit. Perfect to throw over your shoulder to track through and airport and small enough to not have to shove a huge thing under your airplane seat. It isn't huge, but the main pocket and smaller zippered section was enough to hold all I listed above without issue. I can't speak for the longevity, but I only plan to use it for trips overseas so it should hold up enough.

I love this "slingpack" or purse, or whatever you want to call it. It has two pouches that zipper shut. It's sturdy so far for me and I carry it everywhere. I so like the fact that everything is zippered. I can carry it on my shoulder like a purse or just grab it up on my arm, whichever is easiest at the time. I keep two paperbacks and a bottled water in it...like if I have to wait for an appointment, I have what I need with me. Plenty of room I think. My id, etc and cell go in the smaller zippered pouch so I always know right where they are and they are so easy to find and access. I can't think of anything negative about it. Since I have a history of finding something I really like (such as this) and then figure I'll buy it later, and then when I go to buy it, it's all out of stock. This time, I'm going to get a couple more of these so I'll have them if/when I wear this one out. It doesn't weigh me down because it doesn't allow me to JAM it with junk. I just really like it. I hope this is an ok review.

Before I say anything, let's first remember that I bought this pack for $9.00. After reading numerous posts from buyers before me, I clicked "purchase" thinking, "You know what, it's 9 bucks, it'll be fine if I use it a few times and it breaks." From the comments, I was expecting a little handbag on a string made out of cellophane, but I was wildly impressed upon opening the bag it shipped in. The material is of a fine quality for the type of trips you'll be taking this pack on, the size is great (of course you're not going to fit a tent in there), and the strap is adjustable! Upon opening, I immediately readied it for a few-hour hike: large water canteen (the thing actually is pretty dang big), gloves, apple, compass, flashlight, extra belt, phone, and keys. And there was still a substantial amount of room. Come on you commenters saying it's too small. For 9 dollars! The only possibly negative thing I can say is that as I moved and walked, the bag would slowly slide across my back to the left, eventually hanging like a handbag instead of in the middle of my back where I wanted it. This could just be a quality intrinsic of one-strap bags though, who knows. Regardless, this bag is a startling good deal. It is perfect for small hikes and day trips.

Considering the price ($5.38), I wasn't expecting much. It certainly doesn't hold as tight as I had wanted, but I suppose I should have gotten one with a waist/chest strap as well. Some one stepped on the adjustment plastic piece, subsequently breaking it, so it's permanently at maxed length, but it's still not bad really. This certainly isn't "high-quality," but there's been no rips, tears, or other damage to the material, and it sees quite a bit of action from me, as I use it as a gym bag 3 times a week on average. If you're not looking for much, especially in terms of space, it's a very decent buy.
