The P782 Pacific Headwear Foamie Fresh Trucker Cap is built in 100% polyester with trucker mesh across the side and back panels and a foam front panel float insert. The foam front is the detail that defines this style. Rather than a woven or buckram-backed front panel, a layer of foam sits behind the face fabric, which holds the front panel upright and flat on its own and gives the cap the tall, firm, slightly retro front that the foam trucker look is built on. It also keeps the cap extremely light, since foam weighs far less than a stiffened woven panel.

The mesh at the sides and back does the cooling work, letting heat escape and air move through the crown so the cap runs well cooler than a fully woven one through a long day in the sun. Together, the foam front and mesh back give decorators a firm, flat, generously sized panel to work on while keeping the whole cap light on the head.
