Description

The 487F Pacific Headwear P-Tec Performance Flexfit® Cap is built on the brand's P-Tec Performance fabric with a closed-back construction. The closed back is what sets this apart from an adjustable cap. There is no strap, buckle, orhook-and-loopp at the rear, so the crown runs continuously all the way around, and the fit comes from the stretch built into the cap, conforming to the head without a gap. The result is a clean, uninterrupted back panel and a closer, more finished look than any adjustable closure delivers.

The P-Tec Performance fabric handles the activity side. It wicks moisture away from the forehead and moves it toward the surface to evaporate, so the sweatband area does not turn heavy and damp during play or heat, which is the trade-off a performance fabric makes against a traditional cotton twill. The crown is a mid-profile pro model, sitting between a flat low-profile cap and a tall structured one, holding a defined shape while staying athletic and leaving a usable front panel for embroidery. On combo colorways, the front panel eyelets and the top button are done in contrast; a gray undervisor sits beneath the curved brim to cut glare, and pro-stitched finishing runs through the build.
