The shell is made from a 4.6-ounce 100% polyester pongee with a 100% taffeta lining with an embossed print, seam-sealed with fused taping for complete waterproof weather protection at a 2,000 mm waterproof rating and 2,000 g breathability rating.

The liner jacket is a 7.5-ounce 96/4 polyester and spandex bonded with 100% polyester fleece with 100% polyester tricot in the sleeves. The UTK 2 designation means it is designed for moderately cold temperatures, recommended for 34 degrees Fahrenheit to negative 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius to negative 19 degrees Celsius).

The EZ Away System features versatile, detachable elements that transform the garment's use and functionality. That versatile, protective character makes the 88178 a strong choice for corporate programs, workwear, outdoor teams, schools, and everyday cold weather protection.

A storm flap with metal snap closure adds wind and rain protection at the front, and a thermal brushed tricot lined collar with a brushed tricot chin guard adds soft, insulating comfort at the neck. Thermal retention shockcords at the hood and hem cinch for sealed warmth, and a zip-off hood with a back adjustable tab adds removable, adjustable head coverage. Brushed tricot lined pockets on both the shell and liner add soft, comfortable storage, and the EZEM System is designed for easy embroidery access.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors.
Do not bleach or use fabric softener, as this protects the waterproof seam sealing, the fleece liner, the breathability, and the stretch.
Close all zippers and snaps before washing to protect the fabric.
Do not iron directly over any decoration.
