The 6040 Next Level Triblend Short Sleeve V is built on a 4.2 oz./yd² triblend in a 50/25/25 mix of polyester, combed ring-spun cotton, and rayon, spun at 32 singles. The triblend construction is what gives this tee its character. Polyester carries the majority of the blend and brings shape retention and quick drying; the combed ring-spun cotton adds natural softness and breathability; and the rayon supplies the drape and the slightly faded, heathered surface that a triblend is bought for. At 4.2 oz./yd² with a 32 singles yarn, the fabric sits light and fine-handed rather than dense.

The V neckline is finished with a set-in 1x1 baby triblend rib collar, cut from the same triblend fabric so the trim matches the body rather than contrasting against it. Baby rib is a finer gauge than standard rib, so the collar sits narrow and neat instead of bulky, and it stretches over the head and recovers rather than going loose and wavy. Front coverstitching at the collar seam adds a clean finished line and reinforces the neckline against stretching out. Side seams shape the body rather than leaving it tubular, and a satin label sits at the neck in place of a printed tag for a smoother feel against the skin.
