Description

The Locale GRNDSR is a cuffed pom beanie knit from 100% PET yarn made from recycled plastic bottles rather than virgin fiber. Recycled PET yarn has performance characteristics similar to conventional polyester, including good shape retention, quick drying, and low shrinkage compared with many natural fibers. These properties help the beanie maintain its fit with regular wear and proper care.

The crown features a jacquard-knit design, with the pattern integrated into the knitted structure rather than applied as a surface print. This construction helps prevent the pattern from cracking or peeling like a printed graphic. A seam at the back is part of the beanie's construction and helps define its shape. The beanie measures approximately 12 inches in height, allowing it to be worn slouched at the back or pulled down over the ears. It features a solid-color cuff, with some patterns incorporating a rib-knit cuff. The fold-over cuff adds a double layer of fabric around the lower edge for additional coverage and provides a stable base for branding. A contrasting pom sits at the top, while a Locale woven label is positioned at the back. The beanie is suitable for winter travel, cold-weather events, retail programs, and outdoor crews.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold with like colors.
Do not bleach, as bleach weakens the yarn and causes uneven color loss.
Tumble dry low, since high heat can distort the knit and mat the pom.
Do not iron directly over any decoration.
Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry so the beanie keeps its form.
