8051BZ Kishigo Police Vest

The Kishigo 8051BZ is a public safety vest built with an upper mesh body and a lower solid polyester section. The mesh up top lets heat escape across the chest and shoulders where a vest sits closest to the body, while the solid lower section holds up to wear and carries the pocket load. Two bands of 1-inch reflective material sit on 4.5-inch lime contrast bands, so the vest shows in daylight through the contrast and in low light and at night through the reflective, which matters on traffic stops and roadside work.

A 4-point breakaway design lets the vest separate at the shoulders and sides if it snags on a passing vehicle or gets grabbed, so the wearer is not pulled along with it. The vest adjusts across four seasons, fitting accurately over a uniform shirt in summer or a bulky coat in winter, so one vest covers the full year. A left chest mic tab holds a radio mic within reach, a left chest pen and pencil pocket keeps writing tools at hand, and an inside large lower patch pocket carries forms and notebooks. Decoration on a public safety vest has to stay off the reflective and contrast material. Law enforcement agencies, traffic enforcement, and public safety programs are the common fit.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
• Do not bleach, as bleach fades the high visibility color and degrades reflective material.
• Tumble dry low or line dry to protect the reflective material.
• Do not use fabric softener, since it dulls the reflective surface.
• Do not iron, as heat damages the reflective material.
