Description

The 1805-1806 X-Back Breakaway Vest from Kishigo pairs two safety features that suit crews working close to moving vehicles and machinery. The vest releases at five points, across both shoulders, both sides, and the front closure, so if it catches on a mirror, conveyor, or piece of equipment, it pulls away rather than dragging the wearer with it. On the back, the reflective stripes cross in an X-back configuration, a layout commonly specified on sites that follow Canadian style visibility patterns and one that reads clearly from behind.

The body is 100% polyester mesh, light and breathable over a shirt or jacket, and it holds its bright color through wear and washing. Visibility comes from 2" wide reflective material that returns light under headlights and in low light. A clear ID insert on the upper left chest keeps a badge, site pass, or name card visible without a lanyard, which avoids adding another loose item that could snag, a detail that fits the logic of a breakaway vest. The simple build suits airport ramps, rail yards, and large sites.

Care Instructions

Fasten all breakaway points and remove the ID card before washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and do not bleach
Hang to dry rather than tumble dry to protect the reflective stripes
Do not iron or dry clean the vest
