The Harriton M990Y is a youth full-zip fleece made from 8.0 oz./yd² 100% spun soft polyester. Spun polyester twists staple fibers into yarn rather than running continuous filaments, which gives the fleece a softer, more cotton-like hand while keeping the quick-drying and shape retention of the synthetic. An anti-pill finish keeps the surface from developing the small fiber balls that form on fleece with repeated wear and washing, which matters more on youth garments that get washed often.

The fabric is tested to 25 industrial washes under AATCC standards, so it holds up to commercial laundering rather than home washing alone. That makes it workable for school and team programs where garments cycle through a laundry service. A front yoke shapes the upper body, non-roll elastic cuffs keep the sleeves from riding up during activity, and a bottom hem drawcord with toggles adjusts the fit at the waist. Dyed to match zippers and pulls keep the hardware from breaking up the color. School programs, youth sports teams, camps, and custom branded programs are the common fit.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold with like colors.
Do not bleach, since bleach weakens polyester fibers and causes uneven color loss.
Do not use fabric softener, because it coats the fibers and encourages pilling over time.
