Description

The Harriton M740 is a fleece-lined jacket with a 100% nylon Taslon shell. Taslon is a textured nylon weave with a softer, more matte hand than smooth taffeta, and it resists wind and water while holding up to abrasion better than polyester at the same weight. Inside, an anti-pill microfleece lining adds warmth and puts a soft face against the skin, with the anti-pill finish keeping the lining from developing fiber balls where it rubs at the cuffs and collar.

The sleeves are lined in polyester rather than fleece and cut raglan, running from collar to cuff without a shoulder seam. Both choices serve the same purpose: the slick polyester lets an arm slide through instead of dragging on fleece, and the raglan cut opens the shoulder for reaching. A full front zip closes the jacket with an inside zip guard, a fabric strip behind the zipper that keeps the teeth off the neck and chin. A contrast-tipped mock collar finishes the neckline on every colorway except Black.

Outside zip pockets secure their contents. The InconspicuZip system gives embroidery access through the lining, so a logo can be applied without opening seams or leaving visible repair. Corporate uniform programs, event and venue staff, field crews, and custom branded programs are the common fit.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold with like colors.
Do not bleach, as bleach weakens nylon and causes yellowing.
Tumble dry low, since nylon is heat sensitive.
Do not iron, as nylon melts at low heat.
