M73 Harriton Unisex Flex Twill Hooded Jacket

The Harriton M73 is a unisex hooded jacket made from 6 oz./yd² fabric in a 94/6 blend of nylon twill and spandex. The spandex part is small, but it changes how the jacket wears: the fabric stretches with the body rather than resisting it, which matters on a work garment where the wearer is reaching, climbing, or crouching through a shift. Nylon twill carries the abrasion resistance, and the diagonal weave holds up to handling better than a plain weave at the same weight.

A ClimaBloc durable water repellent finish makes water bead and run off rather than soak in, which handles wet conditions without the weight or stiffness of a membrane. A three-piece hood is shaped from three panels rather than two, so it follows the head and turns with it instead of blocking peripheral vision, and a dyed-to-match drawcord tightens it down. The center front zipper is dyed to match, with an auto-lock slider that holds its position and a rubber toggle for grip with wet or gloved hands. A right chest pocket and lower pockets zip closed, and an inner storage pocket holds items out of the weather. Encased elastic cuffs and a shock cord at the hem seal the openings against wind.

The EZEM system opens the lining for embroidery access. Field and facilities crews, construction and utility programs, outdoor staff, and custom branded programs are the common fit.

• Machine wash cold with like colors.
• Do not bleach, as bleach weakens nylon and breaks down spandex.
• Tumble dry low, since heat damages nylon and spandex.
  Do not iron, as nylon melts at low heat.
