Description

The Harriton M723 is a unisex insulated work vest made from 8 oz./yd² (273 gsm) fabric in a 65/35 blend of polyester and cotton twill. The polyester majority carries the durability and shape retention, while the cotton share softens the hand and keeps the fabric from feeling plastic against the skin. Twill weaves a tight diagonal face that holds up to abrasion, and a ClimaBloc durable water repellent finish makes water bead and run off rather than soak in.

A 140 gsm poly fill carries the insulation, the heaviest fill weight in this range, backed by a polyester taffeta lining in a diamond quilt. That quilting holds the fill in place so it cannot shift and settle into cold spots, and the taffeta gives a slick inner face that slides over a base layer. Harriton rates the vest UTK 1, suited to temperatures from 47ºF down to 18ºF. Double patch pockets sit on the chest with flaps and Velcro closures, which hold contents through bending and working rather than relying on gravity, and lower pockets zip closed.

An inner storage pocket holds items out of the weather. The EZEM system opens the lining for embroidery access. Field and facilities crews, construction and utility programs, fleet and transport staff, and custom branded programs are the common fit.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold with like colors.
Do not bleach, as bleach weakens cotton and strips the repellent finish.
Tumble dry low to protect the fill and quilting.
Do not use fabric softener, since it strips the water repellent finish.
Do not iron directly over any decoration.
