M705 Harriton Mens Auxiliary Canvas Work Jacket

The Harriton M705W is a ladies' canvas work jacket made from 8.26 oz./yd² (280 gsm) coated canvas in an 80% polyester and 20% cotton blend. The polyester majority provides abrasion resistance and reduces shrinkage, while the cotton content softens the hand so the canvas does not feel stiff. The coating adds a surface barrier against moisture and dirt, which is what separates coated canvas from plain duck on a jacket that works outdoors.

The lining splits by section. The front and back body are made of a 65/35 polyester-cotton jersey, a soft knit that sits comfortably against the torso, while the sleeves are made of 100% polyester taffeta. That taffeta is slick, so an arm slides through instead of catching on knit, and it matters most where a jacket gets pulled on and off through a shift. A fold-down collar has an inside storm jacket to close off the neck against wind. Adjustable snap cuffs tighten at the wrist or open over a glove. A double welt pen pocket on the left arm keeps pens within reach where a hand pocket would not be, and lower front welt pockets close with hidden snaps that keep the front line clean. The InconspicuZip feature gives embroidery access through the lining.
