    As a big fat lump, one of the problems with t-shirts is the length, particularly after a few washes the belly is dangerously close to flopping out. So I thought I'd try one of these 'big and tall' t-shirts to address the problem.Firstly, the quality feels really good. It's soft, it's thick, it's definitely well made. However, the length is like a dress rather than a t-shirt, it's hovering somewhere close to the knees. Maybe I'm not tall enough for it (6ft 1), but I thought it looked silly, and the sleeves were a bit large too. As a lardo, I think I eat more than enough, but I'd have to go some to fill out the sleeves, they're like wings!If you're super tall with arms like Hulk Hogan, or you are starting a boyband and want to pair this with some womens leggings, it's bang on. Otherwise, think twice.

    .........which is why I thought I'd give this Hanes Tall T-Shirt a try.I'm 6ft 2in and 234lb's :(Ordered 2XL (I often have to, just to get the extra length).This Hanes shirt is super. Great length, good quality, pretty heavy material.It was far too baggy for me. I've now washed it a couple of times, and dried on the line. It has tightened a little on me, but thankfully the length hasn't changed. I don't have upper arms akin to thighs, and unfortunately the girth of the shirts arms hasn't shrunk, but I guess having the appearance of a flying squirrel is a small price to pay.So, I've now ordered a smaller size. I'll see how that fares fit-wise after a few washes...........and then I should be all set for buying more of the right size, to replace the dozens of far too short ordinary T-Shirts in my wardrobe.I'm a happy chappie!

    Fantastic t-shirt's. I'm 6'6" and my son is 6'7" and these are spot on length-wise (even after a few washes). Probably the first t-shirt I've owed that doesn't sit just above my trouser-line after a few washes! Plus they're not really baggy under the arms/waist, which is the problem I've found with other 'tall and big' clothes.Bought one initially to try for my son (whose beefy) we were so impressed that we ordered another five (two more for him and three for me) in grey, white and black. They're all the same quality and sizing. Little tip, if you're tall/slim order the large, if you're tall/regular or well built go for XL upwards. BTW the quality is really nice. Soft, well stitched and looks like it will last. Cheers guys!

    I'm 6'2" 400lbs with a big belly, and it's super hard finding shirts that are long enough to make sure nothing is hanging out, especially when you raise your arms, etc. Somehow I tried a dozen other brands of "tall" shirts before trying the Hanes 4XLT, and none of them fit as well as these! The collar does get a little stretchy so it doesn't look 100% neat, but for a really big guy, having a plain, cheap white T-shirt that fits this comfortably is a rare gift. Would definitely recommend the big and tall sizes.

    I love these Beefy T-Shirts. I ordered 5 of them in black for work as an installer and they have held up very, very well. I ordered a few more in various colors for casual use and have be quite happy with them.What I like the best is the heavy weight of the fabric. In my job I work around a lot of sharp objects that in the past snagged and ripped my shirts so I went through way too many of them. These Beefy shirts last me around 18 to 24 months before I replace them. That works out to about 75 to 100 washes per shirt before they start thinning out and the color gets faded.As for fit, I get the Tall version. It's long enough to where no matter how high I reach up the shirt covers my (ummm... a little too beefy) waist. Note: The shirt I'm wearing in the photo is a 3X.. It's the same size I ordered last time but since I lost weight I probably should have ordered a 2X this time.Haven't found a better T-Shirt for work. Well worth the price.~ S ~

    Tall T-shirt stays tucked in all day long. Absolute luxury. Watch out for sizing - US Large similar to UK eXtra-Large.

    Tl;Dr summary:Why is it so hard to find undershirts for a big guy that are long enough to stay tucked in, but don't have commidacly loose sleeves and necks? A xxxl long should have reasonable arms to fit *under* a shirt, and a neckline that isn't for a late night dancer.--These are great shirts - but, after having ordered three times, I have a lot more than three sizes. Some shrink a little, some a lot; some come fatastically large, some just right. This is deffinatley true from pack to pack over the past two years, but it also seems true inside a three pack. Those that come just right are a blessing for a long torso'ed heavy guy like me, but with roughly 1/3 making the cut - it's hard to recommend this product.I'd like to also note that the price for xxxl long Ts shouldn't be multiples of the price for xxl long Ts. I get they are bigger, but the price gouging is a bit obvious. /endrant

    I recommend buying the next size UP from what you are expecting because (1) they are a little snug for their stated size and (2) in spite of Hanes' claim that the shirts are pre-shrunk they do shrink further during the first couple of washes. So get a size bigger to allow for shrinkage. They also start fading after a few washes but are nonetheless very comfortable and long enough to keep my pendulous gut covered when I am holding a boom pole above my head.

    I primarily wear these as undershirts, for dress shirts and polos at work. But they are also nice enough to wear on their own. They are lightweight and soft. They shrink a little bit when you wash them (just don't use a ton of heat, and you will probably be fine). The color stays pretty well, but they do start to fade after months / years of regular wear. The collar tends to last a little longer than some of the other t-shirts I've owned in the past.
