The shirt is nice heavyweight cotton knit, rather than the thin flabby stuff you usually get. The color is true green, it's well-made and what one expects of the Hanes brand. I buy my husband easy-to-wear clothes that are nice to be seen in as he recovers from illness. This was a good choice. I also ordered it in two other colors.

I just received my Haynes shirt. I am never sure what size to order since I seem to be between a Medium and Large. On good quality shirts I usually wear a medium. Sometimes a medium shirt is too small and a large is just right. So I never know what I am getting. At least one of the reviewers said these shirts run small so I ordered a large. So I try on my large size shirt and it is huge. If I pull the sleeves down they come down clear over my hands. The body is very big. Now that is okay if I were larger but in this shirt I need a medium. I can't return it because the seller says they will refund the money less the shipping cost. So after I pay the shipping to send it back and they deduct the shipping cost from the refund I would spend more than I paid for the garment, therefore, I am stuck with it. I have another one on the way from another seller so I may or may not have another too large shirt. I'll try shrinking them in the wash. It's no big deal since they didn't cost much but just beware of the size you order. At least the one I have received was actually a generous large.

The material is pretty strong, they don’t rip easily. I took one star off because over time no matter how careful I am when washing it, it starts to turn pink. Also, I ordered a size small and received a medium which was way too big so I had to return it. I had to buy it directly from Hanes to get a size small.
