Edwards 8591 is a ladies' flat-front security pant built for private security, campus security, law enforcement support, event security, and public safety uniform programs where the pant needs to meet the functional requirements of a duty uniform rather than perform as a standard dress or service pant. At 6.2 oz, 100% polyester, it handles the repeated high-frequency washing that duty uniforms typically cycle through without breaking down the construction details that make it functional for security work.

Three features address the specific demands of security wear directly. The rubberized inner waistband grips the shirt and keeps it tucked through active patrol movement, crouching, and vehicle entry and exit, resolving the most common complaint with standard dress pants in security roles without requiring constant readjustment throughout a shift. Wide belt loops are sized to accommodate a security or duty belt rather than a standard dress belt, a required construction feature in security uniform programs. Two front and two back pockets provide standard storage across both sides. Pants are hemmed to the indicated inseam before shipping, so buyers specify the inseam at time of order. Tall sizing accommodates taller wearers. Men's companion is style 2595.
