Edwards 6530 is part of the Redwood & Ross Russel Collection, a ladies' waist-length suit coat built for hotel, financial services, airline, and corporate programs where a woman's suit coat needs to coordinate with the Russel dress pant 8530, dress skirt 9730, and vest styles 7530 and 7535. At 7.70 oz and 54% polyester, 44% wool, and 2% spandex, the 6530 uses the same Russel fabric as the other collection pieces for consistent color and texture across the full suiting program.

The waist-length cut sits at the natural waist for a cropped, contemporary silhouette suited to hotel, airline, and formal hospitality programs, and is shorter in proportioning than the longer companion style 6535. The 2% spandex provides comfort stretch that allows the tailored jacket to flex with arm and shoulder movement during active standing service work. The pocket layout includes two lower flap pockets, one watch pocket above the right flap pocket, one upper chest welt pocket, and two lower inside pockets, covering both formal appearance and practical storage needs.

Machine washable, with dry cleaning also supported. Embroidery and heat transfer are not recommended on Russel Collection pieces. The men's companion suit coat is style 3530.
