Description

Edwards 4550 is the men's Firenza vest built for banquet, restaurant, hotel, and fine dining programs where front-of-house staff need a formal vest that reads more like tailored suiting than a standard service vest. Made from the same 95% polyester, 5% spandex textured weave fabric as the ladies' companion style 7551, the Firenza construction is positioned at the dressier end of the Edwards hospitality vest lineup; the textured woven surface, fully lined body, and tailored construction give it a visual weight and formal quality that standard polyester service vests do not achieve.

The 5% spandex in the textured weave fabric allows the vest to flex with arm and torso movement during active table service and floor work without the fabric pulling tight or restricting through the chest and sides, which is the practical advantage of this construction over a rigid woven vest at a comparable weight.

The V-neck with matching placket buttons keeps the closure coordinated and clean; matching buttons rather than contrasting hardware maintains the formal, tailored appearance throughout the shift. Two functional welt pockets provide real on-shift storage, which distinguishes the 4550 from non-functional welt-pocket vests where the pocket appearance is purely decorative.

The self-fabric back with full lining gives the vest a clean drape and structured silhouette from both front and rear, which matters in programs where staff are visible to guests from all angles. Tall sizing adds one inch of body length for a clean tuck through a full standing shift. Ladies' companion is style 7551.
