Description

Edwards 1522 is the ultimate lightweight snag-proof polo built for transit, security, facilities, parking, and active outdoor service programs where a performance polo needs snag-proof durability at a lighter weight than the standard 6.7 oz style 1512. At 4.4 oz and 100% polyester, the 1522 is the lightest snag-proof polo in the Edwards lineup, well suited for staff working warm outdoor conditions where a heavier polo adds unnecessary warmth through a full shift.

The snag-proof polyester knit resists thread catching and pulling on contact with hardware, radio equipment, and rough surfaces during patrol and active service work. The antimicrobial finish inhibits odor-causing bacteria during active wear, and UPF sun protection blocks harmful rays for staff on extended outdoor shifts in parking, valet, and event venues.

Double-needle stitching reinforces seams through the body and sleeves for extended garment life under demanding daily wear. Colorfast construction holds through repeated industrial laundering. Ladies' companion styles are 5522 and 5524.
