Description

Edwards 1246 is a men's long-sleeve comfort-stretch poplin shirt built for restaurant, delivery service, valet, guide, and active image apparel programs where a dress shirt needs to move freely during constant physical activity through a full shift. At 3.5 oz and 60% cotton, 40% polyester poplin with comfort stretch, the higher cotton content gives the shirt a soft, natural hand while the stretch construction allows it to flex in every direction during reaching, bending, and carrying without pulling or restricting across the shoulders and back.

The button-down collar, left chest pocket, and back yoke with box pleat keep the 1246 within standard dress shirt conventions. The box pleat adds ease of movement through the upper back during active service work, allowing the shirt to open across the shoulders during reaching without pulling out of the tuck. The slightly curved tail allows the shirt to be worn tucked or untucked. Rental Ready and industrial launder approved for commercial uniform laundry programs. The ladies' companion is style 5246 and the short-sleeve companion is style 1231.
