The Edwards 1039 is a melange camp shirt built for resort, gaming, and food service uniform programs where a relaxed, retail-inspired shirt appearance is part of the front-of-house presentation. Made from 100% polyester ultra-light melange at 4.4 oz, the fabric is notably lighter than standard uniform shirts in this category. That weight makes a real difference for staff wearing a shirt through a full shift in warm indoor environments like resort lobbies, casino floors, and dining rooms.

The melange pattern itself comes from a yarn-dyeing process where fibers of varying tones are blended before weaving, creating a mixed, heathered visual texture that reads more contemporary and retail-inspired than flat, solid polyester. This is why the 1039 works well in properties where the uniform program needs to look less institutional and more aligned with the property's overall aesthetic. The 3M Scotchgard finish adds soil release so spills and surface stains lift cleanly in the wash rather than setting into the fabric, which is a practical requirement for food service and hospitality environments.
