    ......But I knew I would. It's a Dri-Duck.I have two of their heavy winter coats, and I have loved both of them. This sweatshirt is no different. I use it as a stand-alone for any temps down to about 45, and as an undercoat for my heavy ones in colder weather.Last week here in NY, the temp was 29 with a windchill of 14. A T-shirt, this DD sweatshirt, and one of my DD heavy coats were all I needed. And I was outside in the wind for hours.Unless Dri-Duck decides to cheap out and change their products (like so many others have), I will continue to buy their products year after year. I have been beyond satisfied, and have recommended them to several friends who are equally satisfied.

    In just two days, this jacket has become hands down my favorite for cool weather. The interior is incredibly warm and comfortable, but doesn't get too hot even when walking briskly. I can easily go out with this jacket and a t-shirt when temperatures are in the low fifties. Probably lower, though my part of Florida doesn't get that cold very often. I bought an XL. I am 5'11, 210 pounds (OK 213 but who's counting). I wear 34/35 dress shirt sleeves, and the sleeves on this jacket are the right length. The bottom rides an inch or two below my belt line, which is great for me. I believe the shoulders are wide enough to fit a sweatshirt or sweater for extra layering, but frankly with this jacket I haven't needed one.What would take it from "great" to "perfect" would be a better way of closing the neck to protect from from wind. Perhaps a wide flap that fastens across the bottom of the hood with a snap or button. That's not a complaint, just a suggestion. I could then see wearing this jacket even in the low 40s. If it's chilly out, I highly recommend!

    Excellent jacket. But sizing has changed. (maybe the company has a different manufacturer now). Hubby already has 2 of these in XL, and they fit perfectly. I ordered another- exact same style number and size. The new one is much larger, sleeves too long, and body is very long. Its more like a 2 or 3XL than and XL.We did compare old jacket with new one. New one runs bigger.

    Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. I thought it to be well made and and generally nice looking. He put it on as soon as he opened it and wore it the rest of the day. A couple of days later he wore it to work. My daughter in law said that after he returned home that day he raved about how much he liked it. Yah! I'm always happy when my sons are happy!

    This is a great hooded sweater I wore this sweater in 35° weather with nothing on underneath but a long sleeve T-shirt and did not get cold ones I am extremely impressed by the quality of this sweater purchased a 3X and was very surprised it fits like a 4X which is good plenty of room to layer underneath pockets are Big enough for your hands and your cell phone there are two small inside pockets on the lower left side small enough for a cell phone like an iPhone se 2020 just disappears the zipper it’s good quality the hood is extremely large a skullcap or baseball cap will fit just fine underneath this hood Would I purchase this item again yes I would I could definitely see myself wearing this in colder temperatures because it gives you the option to wear multiple layers underneath not quite your traditional carhartt coat But very close I can’t say enough nice things about this but it’s sweater if you purchase one you will not be disappointed !!!

    I'm in love with these jacket/hoodies. The description says it's a jacket but it's more like a thick hoodie with a better fit in the torso. I'm 6'1" 180 lbs. and the large fits just right. I have more of a slim/athletic build and have always hated how most hoodies are either too baggy in the torso area or too short but this has a much better fit. It's also a lot warmer than any hoodie I've owned in the past. It's great for temperatures in the 40-65F range (I'm cold natured btw). I also really like the shape of pockets, it keeps things from falling out. The construction and materials are fairly rugged and should be great for my technician job.

    5'11" 290lbs (obesity, not muscle) guy here... I usually wear a 2XL t-shirt, polo, sweater, etc and originally ordered this hoodie in a 3XL to allow for shrinkage and room as it is meant to wear over other clothing. The 3XL is a lot bigger than I expected. Seemed overall more like a 4XL in my opinion. The drape of the waist and the sleeves were very very long. I ordered a 2XL as a replacement and it is just right. Even if this 2XL shrinks a little from washing it will still be a good fit in my opinion.It's surprising how much of a size difference there is between the 3XL and the 2XL. With this sizing convention Dri-Duck should really consider making a 2.5XL. I can't imagine there being that much of a jump in size difference between the XL and 2XL.My first impression is that this hoodie is great quality. I'm not a fan of the polyester inner lining, but that's just my preference and I can live with it all else withstanding. If the structural integrity falters or if it shrinks like crazy from washing after owning it for a while I'll come back and update this review for the people.

    Overall it is a quality jacket. The main drawback iis the size. I normally wear XL regular. But the XL for this model is very big (wide and long). The other miner issue is the inside pocket is not deep enough. Also, tt would be better if the inside pocket comes with a zipper.
