    After reading other reviews, I sized up from a medium to a large, and should have gone up to an XL. Their sizes seem like Juniors rather than Women’s sizes. These are shorter and tighter than I expected, but will be fine to wear around the house and they’re pretty comfy. I definitely recommend going two sizes up if you don’t want the “cheeky” look.

    Surprisingly the fit was as expected. I bought these as pj shorts so I ordered an XL, wanting them a bit baggy. I figured they would run small, but nope! This XL fits exactly as I like my pj shorts to fit. Loose and comfy. Material is soft, washes well and didn’t shrink at all when dried. Cute color choices too! Only drawback is there are no pockets. I’ll never understand that lack of pockets in women’s shorts/pants.

    When buying these shorts, I noted that many others had said they run small. I am normally a Medium in shorts (or size 4/6) and was going to order a Large. I ended up ordering an XLarge just to be on the safe side and I sure am glad! These run super short and would not feel comfortable in anything smaller. In fact, I probably wouldn’t mind an XXL! The fabric and color are great and would definitely order another pair in the XXL. I haven’t washed them yet but I hope these don’t shrink!

    I love the comfort colors shirts so was excited to try the shorts too! Based on reviews I ordered 2 sizes up and I’m glad I did. They fit perfect. I’m normally a medium or size 8 (5’4”, 140lbs) and for comfy shorts like this I would get a large to be comfortable so I ordered xlarge and they are perfect, fit just like I wanted. Love the faded look of the grey and denim

    I read the other reviews, and ordered a pair of these CC shorts (1537L) in a medium Blue Jean color, since everyone says they run small. They arrived; I liked the quality a lot, but they were way too large for me. But I ordered 3 more pairs in size small; Blue Jean, Crimson, Lagoon Blue. When they finally arrived, the BJ and C ones were fine. They had a "Made in Guatemala" label on them; they are not exactly the brighter colors that are pictured in the item description, but I can certainly live with them. However!!! The Lagoon Blue pair were totally different. They were about a size and a half smaller, and the fabric was flimsy. Their label said "Made in Honduras." Too bad, because the color was really nice.I contacted the seller (Unique Packaging / Hosiery and More); it took a while (they said they are very short-staffed), but someone was nice enough to go into the warehouse and check on which colors are Made in Guatemala; turns out that Blue Jean, Crimson, Watermelon, and Pepper are made in GT. The other colors are Made in Honduras, so almost certainly way small. They sent me replacements for my Honduras shorts, and I love them.Upshot is, the Guatemalan CC shorts are really nice (if you want to try them, maybe the above colors are still the right size). The Honduran ones are crap. Comfort Colors used to be a really good, reliable brand when they were made by Chouinard; now that they are made by Gildan, they are too variable for me. Sure wish Gildan would take a serious look at their quality control. So, 5 stars for the Guatemalan shorts, 1 star for the Honduran shorts, for an average of 3 stars!
