212335 Columbia Skien Valley Cargo Pants

The Columbia 212335 Skien Valley is a cargo pant built from 100% recycled polyester with 88/12 nylon and elastane power mesh at the vent panels. The recycled polyester comes from reclaimed material rather than virgin production. Power mesh is a stretch knit that holds its shape under tension rather than sagging like standard mesh, which is why it works as a structural panel instead of just an opening. Omni-Shade rates the fabric UPF 50, blocking roughly 98 percent of UV radiation, and Omni-Wick pulls moisture to the surface to evaporate.

The construction is built around movement. Articulated knees are shaped with a bend already in the pattern, so the fabric follows the leg when the wearer crouches or climbs instead of pulling tight across the front. Mesh vents sit at the back of the knee, where heat collects during hiking and where a vent stays hidden. An integrated removable belt means the pant works with or without it, and a drawcord adjustable hem cinches the leg opening. Storage runs in four places: front hand pockets, a cargo pocket with hook-and-loop closure, and a back pocket with one security zipper pocket. This is a customizable piece.
