The Columbia 212134 Tidal Pursuit is a five-panel cap made from a 91/9 blend of polyester and elastane. The elastane content is high for headwear at 9 percent, and that is what makes the 3D stretch adjustable back work: the fabric itself gives and recovers, so the cap seats across a range of head sizes rather than relying only on the snapback. Omni-Shade Broad Spectrum rates the fabric UPF 50, blocking roughly 98 percent of UV radiation across a wider band of UVA and UVB, and Omni-Shield Release makes water and stains bead and run off rather than soak in.

The crown is structured at a low profile, so it holds its shape without standing tall on the head. Five-panel construction runs one continuous front panel with no center seam to split a logo. Laser-cut venting opens holes directly into the fabric rather than using separate mesh panels, so air moves through the crown while the cap keeps one continuous material and a clean line. The bill is slightly curved with a rope braid across the front. A PFG logo patch sits above the closure at the back with a Columbia woven tag on the snapback itself, which leaves the entire front panel open for decoration.
