It features a 9.5-ounce 80/20 cotton-polyester fleece outer shell and a 7.5-ounce 100% pre-shrunk cotton waffle-knit thermal lining, for a combined fabric weight of 17 ounces. The fleece exterior provides a substantial feel, while the textured thermal lining adds an additional layer for warmth. The USA-Made construction makes the 940 suitable for programs that specify domestic manufacturing. Its heavyweight construction and thermal lining make it suitable for workwear, corporate programs, outdoor programs, union shops, spirit wear, and everyday cold-weather use.

The sweatshirt features a double-lined hood with thermal lining and matching drawcords for an adjustable fit. A full-zip front provides convenient on-and-off access and allows for easy layering, while front pockets provide space for hands and small essentials. Spandex in the cuffs and waistband provides stretch and helps the edges retain their shape. The pre-shrunk cotton waffle-knit thermal lining is designed to minimize shrinkage during laundering.
