Badger 2107 Youth B-Dry 6" Shorts

I'm 5' 5" and 160lbs. I had bought a pair at the Mall in Large, but they were not comfortable, so returned them without being able to get a larger size. Then I came here to buy a size up to XL and this works perfectly. Very comfortable and smoothing. If you want to give this a try, I suggest looking at the chart, but buying a size up.

My lovely pure white shapewear arrived this rainy afternoon, and I was SO excited to try it on. This was a tricky purchase for me as my questions pre purchase had come up with very different opinions regarding Yes-No in terms of my wearing it this summer on my by-the-beach walks I love so much. Having totally fallen in love with the scrap of shapewear, I am very very happy to see that ALL the opinions were right!First thing I noticed was that this mini-girdle/panty/shapey/shortie-thing is not at all the shiny sort of spandex. This material is softer-than-soft, as though the makers had captured a few chunks of white cumulus clouds from a summer sky. I'm 5'9", 165 pounds, older than old, and mostly male. I ordered a size Large for my body, and that was a good guess. (Oops, thought I, at first glance—have they sent me a Medium? Oh: No; that M is for Maidenform, Silly; just so you know. They sent me the right size, Large; all good.)Later I'll add a photo, but for now I recommend this for people who like what I bought it for" super-comfortable short shorts. Not much of my the garment will be seen, as I love wearing a T-shirt or sleeveless thing over-top of my choice of very short, extremely superb, such summer things. So the impression given on reflection by my full-length mirror is that my legs will love it and it will be perfect for those who conform to their own styles of fashion adventure. It really won't look very unusual at all; more just "short". And of course, like white jeans or shorts or ANYthing, I'll be hoping to keep these new "short-shorts" impossibly clean. But that's okay too: this is not a huge white thing to keep clean; it's a minuscule thing. Comfort, 10 out of 10; apparent quality of construction, 10 out of 10; basic gorgeous quotient, 10 out of 10. Excellent and fantastic. Stretchy material with a thicker less stretchy part for the ' area'. Smoothed and reduced appearance of midriff.Comfortable enough to wear for longer periods.

All the other makes do not meet the standards of Maidenform. These garments stay put and are far superior. This is a very competitive price.

So I tried to go for the cheaper ones here on amazon around $14 or so but they turned out to be just shorts you wear under dresses with the tightness of a pair of socks on your feet. Aka no support. SIZE UP. I am 5ft 2 185 lb with super wide hips and butt. I got a size large. While I had to do the preparatory inhale, i got them on. Not uncomfortable at all. Wore them all day. Did not slip AT ALL. Goes up to bottom of bra. I was gonna buy spanx brand but having a $40 undergarment to remind you that you have a belly is not my cup of tea.Not gonna lie. Still gonna try a spanx brand (when someone gives me money or buys them for me because I'm not a rich queen, I'm a budget queen) but either way I'm 100% gonna buy these again just in the nude color this time(Also on my hubby's bc we share- budget queen)

The media could not be loaded.  I am 5' 3" and 170 pounds. I've had two kids and I have a ton of loose skin in my stomach area from my last pregnancy and weightloss. I needed something to suck me in for a Military ball. It has done a great job keeping everything smoothed out and sucked in. It's also super breathable. I thought a medium was going to be too small for my 41.75" hips, but it went right up. Awesome awesome shapewear for the Mom pooch.

not too tight to cut off your circulation, but tight enough to lose a dress size!

This is one of the more comfortable shapers that actually does a decent job of holding things in. For reference, I am 5' 8" and weigh 195. Normally, I wear a size 16, which would have been an XL per rhe size chart. Because most said to use up, I bought the 2XL. I probably could have gone down one size if I wanted more belly control, but for smoothing, the larger size still definitely does the job.Things I like:1) The boy short portion is neither too long (cutting into my thighs) or too short (giving me panty lines.) It lies flat around my bum and even in light colored leggings, the shaper is not noticible.2) The top is not so tight that you have that extra bulge between bra & shaper.3) It does not "ride up" giving you a wedgie!4) It gently smooths the belly making fitted shirts look nicer.What I'd improve:1) The top edge (which has a no slip gripper) wants to flip over. It doesn't fall down or continue rolling, but it is a bit of an annoyance. The good thing is, you don't feel or see that the top edge has flipped so I consider this minor. I enclosed added a picture with one of my clingy white sweaters so you could see how it looks underneath.All in all, a great buy. May get one in black, too!

This really sucked in my tummy. I am 6ft tall and weigh about 195. I normally wear a size 14 and I ordered a Large. It does do its job. I wouldn't want to wear this for more then a couple hours since I'm not use to the tight feeling. But I will order another color since it worked out. I gave it a 4 because I was having problems with the back top part. It kept wanting to flip over. Luckily I have really long hair so it hid the flipped fabric.

I really wanted to like these & thought I would given that they are high waisted AND boy short cut at the thighs—both things that I prefer. They looked good, but didn’t provide enough support in the lower tummy where I need pressure on my c-section incision. They seemed to be well made & finished like underwear in crotch so no inside seams to annoy, but they would have been a pain to pull down for potty, not worth the little support they offered.
