The S17930 Ladies Challenger Vest from Spyder is built on an 82/18 nylon and elastane matte-finish shell. Nylon is the deliberate choice over polyester because it takes abrasion better, so the vest survives shoulder bags, seatbelts, and being pulled on and off daily without scuffing, and the matte finish keeps it reading as refined rather than sporty. Recycled imitation down fill provides warmth with recycled content, backed by a 90/10 polyester and elastane stretch knit.

Three pockets cover three different needs. A secure zip exterior chest pocket handles the phone or card reached for constantly, an internal secure zip chest pocket keeps a wallet or passport hidden, and secure zip hand pockets take everything else. Strategically placed stretch panels open mobility through the torso, and forward-set shoulder seams move the seam off where a bag strap sits. An internal draft flap behind the exposed molded zipper and an adjustable internal hem cinch cord keep wind out at the closure and hem.
