Let's address the elephant in the room. Shirts made today are not true large, mediums etc. They've run small for years.These shirts run real small. I wear a true med, but today's clothes it's a large, I should have read more reviews. The sleeves practically ripped off when I put my arms through.I do like the price, maybe I'll order an XL or XXL accommodate.

Bravo! I bought two of these shirts. One for exercise and the other for casual dress to a restaurant, store, movie theater etc. Last year I bought this color combination from another 100% cotton brand and it just didn't look or feel right on me. I hope Gildan make more black shirts with various color sleeves. The white and heather gray shirts are tiresome. Now like others stated, these shirts are not heavy cotton which I'm cool with. I'd fry out here in the sun if they were. They're just regular 3/4 length sleeve baseball tops that I don't worry about wearing thin and becoming raggedy in the coming months or years.These shirts are nice, comfortable , and need no special treatment. I throw them in the washer on cold and then dry them on high. No problems for me.

True to size. I wanted something that wasn't paper thin and this is not see through and feels soft. I bought 3 in different colors. I would buy again.Thanks :)

When I opened the package with this new shirt in it, I was very disapointed. The reason I was disapointed is because the shirt was balled up and thrown in the bag like it was someones return. It was so messed up looking that it actually looked dirty, and that made me think it was returned, or it had lived in a shop for a long time and it was not dusted or something. Then I tried the shirt on, and the stitching on the inside of the collar was very stiff, and scratchy, and so was the tag. This let me know the shirt was in fact new, and had not been worn. (I have a very sensitive neck, there are some shirts I can not wear at all just because of the label) So I decided to wash and dry this shirt, to make it clean and help soften the scratchy collar. I am so glad I did because I have now found my new favorite weekend T-shirt, like many of the other reviews I read, which made me want to buy it to begin with. That is the reason I give it only 4 stars, is because of how turned off I was when I first pulled it out of the bag. (honestly it was so bad at first, I was about to tape it back up and return it, that's how messed up looking it was...

This product seems to run a tad large, and the fit is super awkward, at least on a more feminine body shape, as it is got a ton of unnecessary room in the chest and arms, is more fitting at the hips, and is very long. I purchased a large, so I would recommend sizing down if you're on the fence about medium vs. large. The seller shipped the item quickly, though, and the garment otherwise seems fairly well-made for this type of shirt, so I will give them that.

We have purchased other Gildan Tees in the past and were very happy with the quality and fit of them. We recently got Gildan men's Heavy Cotton ¾-Sleeve Raglan and this is not the same quality. The description reads "Heavy Cotton", but this tee is lightweight. It is fine for the summer & for the price we decided not to return it.
