Edwards 5398 is the ladies' version of the Stand-Up Collar Batiste Shirt, sharing the same 100% polyester batiste fabric and stand-up collar construction as the men's companion style 1398 but tailored specifically for women with front and back darts that shape the blouse through the bust and waist for a fitted, feminine silhouette. At 3.5 to 3.75 oz, the fine plain-weave batiste is among the lightest woven shirts in the Edwards lineup, with a soft, fluid hand that stays comfortable through a full shift in warm indoor environments like casino floors, hotel lobbies, and resort dining rooms.

The stand-up collar sits vertical at the neckline rather than folding over, creating a refined, upscale collar treatment suited to fine dining, resort, and entertainment venue programs where the uniform aesthetic is contemporary and elevated. The fly-front with dyed-to-match buttons keeps the front completely clean from neckline to hem without visible hardware.
