The Edwards 2596 is a men's security EZ Fit flat front pant built for private security, campus security, law enforcement support, event security, and corrections programs where the pant needs to meet the functional demands of a duty uniform across a wide range of officer body types and shift durations. At 6.6 oz and 100% polyester, the fabric runs heavier than a standard hospitality dress pant, providing the durability and structure that security duty uniforms require through active patrol and physically demanding shift work.

The EZ Fit waistband is the defining feature that separates the 2596 from the standard Edwards security pant style 2595. Two inches of hidden stretch adjustment accommodates minor weight changes, different belt and gear configurations, and seasonal layering without requiring a different pant size. Rubberized gripper tape on the inside of the waistband keeps the duty shirt tucked through active movement and vehicle operation without requiring readjustment during a shift. Double hook-and-eye closure with a brass zipper provides secure, durable fastening for demanding wear. Two front and two back pockets cover standard duty storage needs.

With a waist range of 28 through 64, the 2596 is among the most size-inclusive pants in the Edwards lineup. Pants are hemmed to the indicated inseam before shipping. The ladies' companion is style 8596 Edwards Ladies Security Ez Fit Flat Front Pant.
